Banckruptcy Law

Banckruptcy Law

Previous advice, economic and labour advice and comprehensive handling of bankruptcy proceedings.

The team's work in this area mainly covers providing previous advice on economic and labour issues to businesses and businesspeople unable to regularly meet their obligations or who foresee being unable to do so. We carry out all bankruptcy proceedings, including pertinent appeals, the preparation of draft agreements and possible business wind-ups. We also defend the interests of firms that may be affected as creditors by bankruptcy proceedings. We developed vast experience in the most common bankruptcy proceedings included under the old bankruptcy laws, i.e., temporary receiverships and bankruptcies, which since September 2004, when the new Bankruptcy Law came into force, have been handled under the unitary denomination of 'bankruptcy', and have developed extensive experience in proceedings based on the new Law.
